She has been training students of all ages and is actively working with arts organizations in bringing these young talents to a wider audience.
An active member of the arts community for the last decade, serving on the OhioDance board, educating and bringing awareness to the community through the Ohio Teaching Artist Roster, along with a long timer with the UN- Dance Council. Her showcased performances and work across Ohio and beyond bridges tradition and innovation blending traditional techniques with contemporary sensibility through rhythm, grace and expression that celebrate the connections between culture and oneness.
Mosaic Journeys by Mansee - brings composition and artistry together & moving them forward through storytelling practices and performance. Guided by the mantra "Where rhythm meets expression” which becomes the essence of Kathak — the meeting point between nritta (pure rhythm) and abhinaya (expression or storytelling). This expression becomes the heartbeat of this journey of rhythm (structure, discipline, tradition) uniting with expression (creativity and emotion) to move forward to a cultural exploration.
Pathways of Art & Expression
For over three decades, Mansee has explored this creative space that define both her personal and artistic philosophy. Rooted in the North Indian classical dance form Kathak, her journey has been one of devotion, exploration and connection.
Through her formative years of disciplined training under her Gurus - Mansee absorbed the essence of precision, grace, and dedication — qualities that continue to shape her artistry till today. Her practice extends beyond classical boundaries, weaving in creative practices of yoga and contemporary moves all of which deepen her understanding of the body as a vessel of rhythm and emotion.
Mansee’s choreographic voice found new expression through Mosaic Journeys, a creative platform that brings together composition, collaboration and community. Here - she explores how diverse art forms can intersect and move forward — crafting works that celebrate both tradition and transformation.
Her artistic path embodies a deep devotion to Kathak’s beauty and a desire to encourage conversations through the language of movement and cultural harmony.
Guided by the ideology “To dance is to express,”Mansee continues to build bridges — reimagining classical stories through movement so that history, tradition, and expression resonate as shared, living experiences with the narrative.
